Beautiful First Full Week Of October

Geoffrey Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The last week of weather hasn't been ideal, to say the least.

Fortunately we're rebounding nicely for the first full week of October. After grazing Bermuda over the weekend, Joaquin continues to jet across the North Atlantic, and could bring some nasty weather to Ireland as it wraps up it's journey. To the delight of many, it will go down as just a scare for the US.

Despite the chilly start to the day, expect temperatures to rebound to the low 70s by the afternoon. Don't forget the sunglasses either, as you'll see the bluest skies in the past week. You won't have to worry about any pesky winds either, so get out and enjoy a lovely fall day. The dry weather sticks around through the first half of Friday, before a cold front brings in showers through early Saturday morning.
