Miley Cyrus Returning To Philadelphia

By Michael Cerio

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Miley, what's good?

A question first asked by Nicki MInaj at this year's Video Music Awards has been answered by Cyrus herself after a busy Saturday night.

First up, her turn hosting and performing on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. The twenty-two-year-old singer kicked off her third trip to the SNL stage with a tribute to the summer's biggest stars. Not Taylor Swift and Chris Pratt, but the one's you were mad about on Twitter like Rachel Dolezal and the Dentist that killed Cecil The Lion. They got a "My Way" singing goodbye from our pop culture memory courtesy of Cyrus.

After two performances, the second a ballad dedicated to her passed away pet that found Miley in tears, Cyrus announced a short 6 city tour that will find her in Philadelphia on December 5th at Electric Factory.

Depending on how you look at it, Philadelphia either helped unleash or break the Miley Cyrus we know today. After spending the summer of 2013 in the city with then-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, it was nights on South Street that helped her find her true self. She told Rolling Stone that year, "I was away from people for a minute, and I just started feeling my own vibe. I bought a pair of Doc Martens. I shaved my head. Driving a **** Ford Explorer around. Just blending in."

Tickets go on sale for Miley's show in Philadelphia this Wednesday.
