Weather: Feeling Like Fall

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- As you head out to work this morning, you might notice a fall-like "chill" in the air. While these temperatures are right around the average for this time of year, it certainly feels cool to many.

Expect to see highs only in the 70s for much of the week, as the beginning of fall is now just a few days away.

Weather-wise, conditions will be generally dry for much of the week, though we will have some systems nearby that will bring clouds into the picture, both to start and end the work week. Monday will feature more cloudy skies, with some intervals of sun depending on your location.

The Pope Francis forecast is looking dry for now. A disturbance will be looming to the south both Friday and Saturday, and it will be worth keeping a close eye on as the week progresses. With high pressure situated to the north, a mixture of clouds and sun is a good bet for now, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
