Giants RB Rashad Jennings Told 'Not To Score'

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The New York Giants' idiotic collapse last night is apparently worse than we thought.

Late in the game up three points with the ball and close to scoring the game-sealing touchdown, the Giants coaching staff told running back Rashad Jennings not to score.

We had a really good drive," center Weston Richburg said after the contest. "We could have easily put it in. I don't make any of those decisions."

Instead, the Giants---who may have also miscounted the Cowboys' timeouts---decided to throw the ball on 3rd down near the goal-line, despite the Cowboys inability to stop the clock. Eli Manning threw the ball away and the clock stopped.

The Giants settled for a field-goal to go up 26-20, but gave Tony Romo just enough time to orchestrate a game winning touchdown drive.
