Woman Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car On Ben Franklin Parkway
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car while riding her bike.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of 22nd Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway.
Authorites say the 28 year-old biker was trapped for several minutes. She was later taken to the hospital for broken bones.
Alcohol was involved in the incident, but it is unclear if it was the biker or the driver who was drinking.
The incident is under investigation.
