Fundraiser At The Shore To Benefit NJ Division Of Special Olympics

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A fundraiser next month down the shore is aimed at helping Special Olympics in New Jersey.

The fifth annual Beach Bump outside Resorts is looking for 20 to 25 teams of up to 10 players to take part in three levels of volleyball competition on September 12th.

"One is a co-ed rec division." says Heather Andersen CEO of Special Olympics New Jersey. "One's a co-ed competitive. And the third division is called a co-ed unified division and that's where we have our athletes that have an intellectual disability participating with individuals without intellectual disabilities. They're playing on the same team and they're playing as a team."

You have to sign up beforehand and the team entry fee is 400 dollars. Or you can sponsor a player.
