Report: Tim Tebow Likely To Make Roster
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It looks like Tim Tebow is on his way to making the Philadelphia Eagles' roster, according to ESPN.com's Dianna Russini.
Russini reports that a source tells her "Kelly's excitement for Tebow is getting stronger" and as long as he avoids making "major errors" during the remainder of the preseason, Tebow will earn a spot on the Eagles' 53-man roster.
In his preseason debut with Eagles last Sunday against the Colts, Tebow had an up-and-down performance. While he completed just six of 12 passes for 69 yards, Tebow also carried the ball four times for 15 yards and a touchdown.
On Tuesday, during day one of joint practice between the Eagles and Ravens, Tebow was the lead man in breaking up a scuffle.
