Rutgers Eagleton Poll: Chris Christie Seen As Arrogant, Self-Centered, Not Presidential

TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) — A new poll has bad news for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s campaign staff.

According to the latest Rutgers-Eagleton poll, voters in the Garden State just don’t see him as presidential material.

54% of registered voters polled in New Jersey say “Presidential” is not a word that describes Christie.

“Smart” polled better, with a yes response from about half of the people polled.

But 58% described him as “arrogant,” 52% say he’s “self-centered,” and 49% describe him as a bully.
