Greg Hardy Involved In Eagles, Cowboys Banner Wars

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Flying banners over training camp of rival teams is quickly becoming all the rage, and the Birds and Boys are not above it.

Last Friday, Eagles fan Eric Michael created a GoFundMe campaign in hopes of raising $1,800 to fly a banner that reads, "WE HAVE DEMARCO! - Eagles Fans," over the Cowboys' Blue/White scrimmage on Sunday, August 9th.

In response, Cowboys fans launched their own GoFundMe campaign, and Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy is chipping in. Hardy, who has been suspended for the first four games of the season, donated $300 to the campaign and suggested the banner's slogan: "We Still Dem Boyz." Originally, the banner was going to read, "We Got The Division."

Ironic, coming from a player who has yet to play a game as a Cowboy.

The Cowboys' GoFundMe campaign has raised $3,850, well above the requested $1,350. The Eagles' GoFundMe campaign has raised $2,003, slightly over the $1,800 goal.

It looks like we'll be seeing some banners flying over training camp for these two NFC East rivals, who will meet in Week 2 (September 20th) in Philadelphia.
