Vandals Slash Tires On Vehicles In Queen Village

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the vandals who slashed tires on more than a dozen vehicles in the city's Queen Village neighborhood.

Authorities say a total of 18 tires were flattened early Sunday morning on vehicles along the 800 block of Swanson Street and the 100 block of Queen Street. Some of the vehicles had more than one tire slashed.

Neighbors were surprised to hear about the crime.

"It's the first time something like that happened in this neighborhood," said one neighbor. "I'm upset about it. My daughter was here overnight and her car wasn't touched. I feel badly for these people"

Police are using surveillance video from nearby homes to try to find the vandals.
