SEPTA Regional Rail Lines Running With Delays
By Kim Glovas
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA says regional rail trains are running with 45-to-60-minute delays, and that is the worst case scenario, after a software issue effected communication and power systems.
SEPTA's Andrew Busch says those systems had to be slowed down and shut down for safety reasons.
Busch says the software problem has been resolved, but now trains are dealing with residual delays.
He is hopeful that the delays will straighten themselves out in the short term. He says updates will be forthcoming throughout the afternoon.
