Weather: A Change For The Better

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A wild Wednesday of weather has given way to much more tranquil conditions. For all of us who had to deal with drenching downpours and storms yesterday, Thursday will prove worth the wait!

As you step out the door this morning, the change will be instantly noticeable. Unlike the oppressive feel of the previous two days, the humidity has significantly dropped overnight.

Thursday and Friday will each have a more comfortable feel. There will also be sunny skies, low winds, and warm temperatures, the ingredients for those "top 10" kind of days. Enjoy them while they last, because the heat and humidity return for the weekend.

There will be some sun along with a thunderstorm chance each day. Come next week, we will likely finalize the second heat wave -- three consecutive 90° days -- for 2015 in Philadelphia.
