Sportsbook Review Predicts Eagles To Win NFC East
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- While the Dallas Cowboys are the favorite to repeat as NFC East champions, our friends at Sportsbook Review predicts the Philadelphia Eagles to regain the division title.
While the NFC East is expected to be one of, if not the, most competitive division in football, Sportsbook Review ultimately thinks the Cowboys' difficult schedule will allow the Birds to prevail as division champs in 2015.
"Expect the Eagles (25/1 to win Super Bowl, opened 20/1) and the Cowboys (14/1 to win Super Bowl) to battle it out with Chip Kelly and the guys from the City of Brotherly Love getting the slight edge to win the division because of the Cowboys' (6/5 to win NFC East, Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook) rugged schedule, which includes both Super Bowl teams (New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks), the Green Packers (12-4, 9-3 in NFC in 2014) and WRs Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson, the underrated Carolina Panthers, and the Philadelphia Eagles (8/5) twice."
The Cowboys will face the Eagles in South Philly on September 20th (Week 2) and in Dallas on November 8th (Week 9).
In 2013---his first season as Eagles coach---Chip Kelly led his 10-6 to an NFC East title. Last year, despite finished 10-6 for the second straight season, a late-season crucial loss allowed the Cowboys to take the division crown.
Fueling the fire to the rivalry, the Eagles signed reigning NFL rushing champ and former Cowboy DeMarco Murray during the offseason.
Sportsbook Review picked the Green Bay Packers, the Carolina Panthers, and the Seattle Seahawks as the other three NFC division winners.
