Police In One Bucks County Town Urging Residents To 'Get A Room'

BUCKINGHAM, Pa. (CBS) – One Bucks County town is urging residents to "get a room" and stop getting physical in the neighborhood's parks.

Using the hashtag #getaroom, the Buckingham Township Police Department reminded residents on Facebook and Twitter that they could get a citation for having romantic liaisons in public parks after dark.

"Reminder Twp. Parks close at dusk," police say. "Nightly we're finding couples 'hanging out' usually in the back seats of cars."

"If you're found in the parks in a compromising position you'll definitely be embarrassed, and possibly receive a citation."
