PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police say a worker was hurt late this morning in Southwest Philadelphia when he was struck by part of a wall as a crew demolished a vacant house.
It happened just after 11am in the 1200 block of South 45th Street. Authorities say when the rear wall came down, part of it struck the 45-year-old worker.
He was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was listed in stable condition.
