The Union last night picked up a tough, come-from-behind win, 2-1, against DC United in the US Open Cup.

First, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch talk with midfielder Zach Pfeffer (top photo), who came in late in the game and helped the Union hold down the lead.

Greg and Eli also discuss the US Women’s team, who defeated the Germans 2-0 to go the finals of the Women’s World Cup.

The victory was powered by Delran, NJ native Carli Lloyd (below), who scored a penalty kick and assisted on the second goal.
