Police: Dozens Of Shots Fired In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say a gunman fired almost 50 shots late Wednesday night in North Philadelphia, striking several cars.

This happened just after 11:30 p.m. on the 600 block of West Tioga Street.

A 19-year-old man who fit the description of the shooter was apprehended, according to police. Another man being treated as a person of interest was also taken into custody.

Police say four cars were struck and a gun was recovered.

Two women claimed they were shot, but were not injured. No other injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
