Kane’s spokesman, Chuck Ardo, says the attorney general had some unexpected guests today.

“Investigators from the Montgomery County district attorney’s office have come to Harrisburg and the attorney general’s office in furtherance of their investigation,” he said.

Ardo says they spent several hours in the office but didn’t take any materials with them when they left.

The Montco DA, Risa Ferman, has been assigned to decide whether to file charges against Kane, in light of a grand jury report that accused Kane of leaking grand jury information and then lying about it.

Kane has denied the charges.
