ABERDEEN, UK (CBS) – Indulging your chocolate cravings could turn out to be a good thing.

The research, which was conducted by multiple universities in the UK, looked at about 21,000 adults who participated in the EPIC-Norfolk study, which tracks the impact of diet on the health of men and women using questionnaires.READ MORE: 1 Person Injured After Car, Flatbed Truck Collide On White Horse Pike In Winslow Township
“Our study concludes that cumulative evidence suggests higher chocolate intake is associated with a lower risk of future cardiovascular events,” says Professor Phyo Myint, of the School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Aberdeen, on the university’s website.
