Phils Option Ruf To Triple-A, Call Up Dom Brown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Moments after the Phillies lost their eighth game out of their last nine Saturday, the team announced they are optioning Darin Ruf to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Taking his spot on the roster is Domonic Brown.

Brown will join the team Sunday in Pittsburgh.
