Taylor Swift Brings 1989 World Tour To Philadelphia

By Dan Wing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pop music sensation Taylor Swift brought her 1989 World Tour to Philadelphia this weekend with the first of two sold out shows at Lincoln Financial Field on Friday night.

KYW's Dan Wing caught up with excited fans before the show.

The parking lot was packed with tens of thousands of "Swifties," all ready to shake off the heat and humidity with one of their favorite pop stars. Danielle was at the show with friends, and says she admires Taylor Swift because of her skills as a musician.

"The fact that she writes her own music and she plays the guitar, I just think that's what an artist is these days."

While the concert will make for a memorable night for all of Taylor Swift's fans, it will be unforgettable for Chris and Kristie, who tied the knot in the parking lot before the show.

"We actually just made a joke about, I had a wedding gown because our original date was on Taylor's birthday - 12-13-14. And I had a gown already, we never ended up doing it and I said let's wear my gown to the concert, and it went from a joke to driving to Philly to get our marriage license."

"We've got Taylor Swift playing our reception. I don't think you can ask for better reception entertainment than that."

The happy couple was joined by friends, and bragged that not many people can say Taylor Swift played their reception.

They say they put the wedding together in just two weeks.
