Potential Guests Test Secret Picnic Menu, Find Out Final Date

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Potential diners now have a date for a secret picnic making its way to an undisclosed public space in Philadelphia.
This year's Dîner en Blanc takes place Thursday, August 20th. While receiving that news, potential guests got to vote on different table settings they would like to see at the dinner.
"It's Philadelphia neighborhoods, so people are doing all sorts of representations of these greats parts of Philadelphia," says Natanya DiBona with Dîner en Blanc.
During the announcement, event attendees got to taste a few of the items on the menu for the all white picnic.
"Strawberry cheesecake, cookies and cheese plates," DiBona says.
DiBona says the popularity for the event has grown every year since its inaugural event in 2012. "We started with just 1,300 people and now it's up to hopefully 4,300 people this year," she says.
DiBona says she's positive guests will love the secret location for this year's picnic. "We try and highlight great spaces and get people appreciate the architecture and just spend a great night in Philadelphia."
