Dorenbos Responds To Williams: 'I Love It Here, I Like The Way We Prepare'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After two pedestrian seasons as a Philadelphia Eagle, riddled by contentious comments, cornerback Cary Williams was released this past March. And true to form, now as a Seahawk, Williams is talking---blaming Chip Kelly and his system for the Eagles' 2014 late-season struggles.
Eagles' long-snapper Jon Dorenbos, a two-time Pro Bowler who was recently ranked the best at his position by Pro Football Focus, is entering his 10th season in Philly and he couldn't be happier.
"I love it here," Dorenbos told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday. "Over the years I've had chances to potentially go to free-agency and haven't wanted to because of the coaching staff, because of Mr. Lurie and this team, and the fan base. I'm happy here, I like the way we prepare. I like the player that I've become because of the people that have influenced my career, not only in this organization but in this city and the fan base like I said."

Williams told 710 AM-ESPN Radio in Seattle on Tuesday that the Eagles were "exhausted and outcoached towards the end of the year for the majority of the games."
Dorenbos disagrees.
"I think we did everything that we needed to do," Dorenbos said. "I think everybody in this building was on the same page. I think we prepare the way we prepare. The bottom line is every team is good in this league. Everybody is gonna do something different. Everybody is gonna prepare a little bit different. The big thing is, as long as everybody is on the same, everybody is on the same boat, and you guys are going in the same direction you're gonna be successful.
"That's one person's opinion and it is what it is. What are you gonna do? You're gonna keep moving forward and we're gonna do everything we can to win because that's what we all wanna do."
Kelly's practice system is known to be demanding on his players, but Dorenbos says that's the point of it---this is the NFL.
"Yeah it's hard, but you know what, everybody in that room should be doing exceptional things because that's who they are," Dorenbos said. "I mean they've been competitors since they were kids. They've constantly come out on top whether it was high school, college, and now they're in the pros. So, is it too much to ask for? No, definitely not. Is it expected? It should be. If we're at the top of our game, then we should be doing things that are at the top of the industry."
