Fundraiser To Be Held Wednesday For Children Of Fallen Philadelphia Firefighter
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A fundraiser is being held for the family of a fallen Philadelphia firefighter on Wednesday night.
Johnnie's Italian Restaurant on Comly Street is holding the benefit dinner for the children of Lieutenant Joyce Craig.
Craig was the first female firefighter in Philadelphia to die in the line of duty when she was killed battling a fire in West Oak Lane last December.
All proceeds and tips from Wednesday's fundraiser will go to Craig's two children.
Tickets are $30 per person and include soup or salad, a choice of entrée and dessert.
