1 Hospitalized Following Police-Involved Shooting In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say an officer discharged his weapon and struck a person in Wynnefield Wednesday morning.
Police say around 10:58 a.m., officers responded to a call about a person with a gun at 54th and Hazelhurst and for unknown reasons at least one officer discharged his weapon.
The person struck has been taken to Presbyterian Hospital in unknown condition.
No officers were injured.
