Officials ID Man Found Dead Inside Suitcase In Delaware County
TINICUM Twp., Pa., (CBS) – Officials say a body was found in a suitcase in Tinicum Township, Delaware County by a pedestrian walking a dog Thursday evening.
Authorities say the individual smelled a foul odor about 15 feet off of the road and contacted police.
The Delaware County Prosecutor's Office says police responded to the area near 2nd Street.
Authorities have identified the body as 40-year-old Scott Bernheisel. They say his last known address was in Philadelphia.
The investigation is ongoing by the Tinicum Township Police Department, the District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division and the Medical Examiner's office.
