CLARIFI AND CAPITAL ONE 360 HOLD FREE MONEY WORKSHOPS
By Jim Donovan: Clarifi, the region's leading personal finance organization, and Capital One 360's Philadelphia café are teaming up to hold 2 FREE money workshops.
Participants are encouraged to grab a coffee and take part in the conversations about spending plan apps and managing student loan debt.
The first workshop is called Smart Phone, Smart Budget and is being held on Thursday, May 28, 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Phones are good for more than just selfies. Smart Phone, Smart Budget will show you how to use smart budgeting apps that can help you identify spending habits, set financial goals and put together a spending plan that makes sense for you. Participants will have the chance to test drive these apps and tools on their own devices.
The second workshop is called The Download on Student Debt and is being held on Wednesday, June 3, 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Whether you're still in college or a recent grad, you want to manage your student debt the best way you can. This workshop will help participants better understand the difference between federal and private student loans, and the variety of repayment options available. Knowing these options can help you keep your payments current and your credit history positive.
