PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Temple University Hospital has a released an update regarding the patients from Tuesday night’s deadly Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia’s Frankford section.

Of those nine people, five remain in critical condition.Temple University Students, Faculty Have Mixed Feelings About Returning To In-Person Learning
Doctors said earlier in the week that they expected all of the patients in critical condition to survive their injuries.
Temple Hospital is the trauma center where many of the most severely injured were taken immediately following the crash.

The cause of the derailment is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board and the FBI.
