Amtrak Predicts Full Resumption of NE Corridor Service By Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Passengers along Amtrak's northeast corridor will have to figure out other ways to get to their destination for a few more days.
Joe Boardman, CEO of Amtrak, says clearing the wreckage from the accident scene and replacing the damaged rails is going to take a while.
He says there will be no Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New York City until at least Monday.
"We expect that we're going to be with limited service at least by Monday," he said this afternoon. "Maybe full service Monday. We're really looking at full service by Tuesday."
Until then, commuters will need a Plan B: getting to Trenton somehow and taking NJT trains from there, or riding the discount buses which travel between Philadelphia and New York.
