PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a man who was caught on camera burglarizing an Old City restaurant.

On Saturday, May 9th at 2:50 a.m., the suspect entered Xian Cuisine Restaurant at 120 Chestnut Street by breaking through a brick wall.

Once inside, the suspect tried to get access to the cash register while consuming alcoholic beverages.

During the burglary, the suspect was interrupted by the owner of the business and a struggle ensued.

The suspect escaped and was last seen heading south on 2nd Street.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a thin build between 5’6” and 5’9”. He is between 30 and 40 years old.
