By Marcy Norton

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's graduation season, and area colleges and universities are getting ready for ceremonies that traditionally feature a guest speaker.

The University of Pennsylvania has scheduled U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, to address Penn graduates.

Villanova University's commencement will feature 1983 alumna Madeline Bell, who is president and chief operating officer at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

St. Joseph's University didn't have to go far to find its featured speaker, Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter.

ESPN anchor and Phoenixville native Kevin Neghandi will address the graduating class at his alma mater, Temple University.

La Salle University chose English and marketing major Madeline Collins, of Millstone Township, New Jersey, to speak to her classmates.

Drexel University will have a number of speakers, and they include tennis legend Billie Jean King, and Dan Schechtman, winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in chemistry.
