With Royal Baby #2 Due Any Day, Folks Across The Pond Weigh In On Their Picks For Names

LONDON, UK (CBS) – Royal baby watch is well underway, and the British public has weighed in on their picks for the name of Will and Kate's next child.

A new poll conducted by the Sunday Times and YouGov has found many Britons think the baby should be named after Princess Diana if it's a girl.

Diana had 12 percent of the vote, and Alice and Charlotte were also popular picks with nine percent each.

If the royal baby is a boy, James was the most popular choice, with 13 percent of the vote, followed by Alexander with eight percent and Richard and Louis, which both had seven percent.

The survey involved 2,200 adults.
