PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) — He’s quickly becoming a fan favorite! The former MLS Rookie of the Year, acquired from Sporting KC in the offseason, scored his first goal for Philadelphia in Thursday’s 1-1 draw at NYCFC.
He then earned a start last Sunday against New England, at PPL Park, the whole time playing with a protective mask due to a facial fracture.
After their chat with CJ Sapong, Eli and Greg discuss the Union’s home defeat against the New England Revolution, 2-1.
The Union opened the scoring with a brilliant free-kick goal in the first half from Cristian Maidana. The Union face the Columbus Crew in Ohio this Saturday.
