Dispatcher Admits Robbing Two Pharmacies In Deptford

WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) — A Runnemede man who was a Burlington County emergency dispatcher has admitted robbing two pharmacies in Deptford in which Oxycodone pills were taken.

Thirty-six-year-old David Farmer says he brandished a knife and left a Target pharmacy with 190 pills in October 2013. Two months later, he said he threatened an employee and stole 200 pills from a Walmart pharmacy.

Under terms of a plea agreement, Burlington County prosecutors will recommend in June that Farmer be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
