Vicious Attack Of Customer Inside North Philly Store Caught On Tape

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a man who was caught on tape violently attacking another male inside a convenience store in North Philadelphia.

The attack happened at about 6:25 a.m. on March 22nd inside the 7-Eleven in the 1500 block of West Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

The video shows the suspect aggressively walking into the store, bumping into an employee that was standing at the front counter.

The suspect then walks towards a male customer who was standing at the counter placing an order.

Without warning, the suspect punched the victim in the head more than a dozen times. The victim then walked away from the suspect, who then punched the victim in the face one last time.

The suspect screamed at the victim before walking out of the store.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital for injuries to his face.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s. He was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red sneakers.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call 911.
