In Atlantic City, Resorts Opens Online Casino and Internet Gaming Lounge

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Resorts casino-hotel has opened an online casino and what they claim in the world's first lounge designed exclusively for Internet gambling.
The Resorts iGaming Lounge allows up to 100 patrons to play different casino games online while at Resorts.
"We have tables that have our online gaming platform built right into them, so what you can do on your computer at home or what you can do on your tablet you can do right on various tables throughout the iGaming Lounge," said Resorts president and CEO Mark Giannantonio, who said the lounge is a very high-tech innovation, much like an Apple store.
"I think it means that Atlantic City is very serious contender when it comes to gaming," he told KYW Newsradio today. "We've had kind of a tumultuous period with foreclosures (in the city). That's behind us now. I think that beautiful thing about Atlantic City is we have scalability."
Resorts also launched its online casino. Giannantonio says paired with the iGaming Lounge, visitors will have a wider choice of gambling experiences.
