1 Killed In Bucks County Accident
NEW HOPE, Pa. (CBS) - Officials say one person was killed overnight in a single car accident in Buckingham Township, Bucks County.
Police say around 1:20 a.m. they were called to the 1700 block of Route 413 just south of the intersection of Lower Mountain Road.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a pick up truck crashed into a tree. Police later found a utility pole was also struck, bringing down wires across Route 413.
Authorities say the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Route 413 in the area of the accident was closed until about 6 a.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
