The Scott Arboretum covers the 300 acres of the Swarthmore College campus and features outstanding gardens, ornamental trees, shrubs and perennials. They specialize in choosing and grooming plants that thrive around here.
You can take their free highlights tour this Saturday from 3 to 4:30pm, to see how their plants are growing and blooming. You can join in their Arbor Day Celebration coming up on Saturday, April 25th from 10 to 1pm, with all kinds of activities and a free tree for every family, while supplies last.
