Rapper DMX Under Investigation For Alleged Robbery In New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ (CBS) – Rapper DMX is accused of robbing a New Jersey man.

The robbery allegedly happened at a Newark gas station just after midnight.

A 21-year-old man says he was talking with the rapper and his crew when a member of the entourage pulled out a gun and demanded his money.

That man says DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, took $3,200 in cash right out of his hand.

The man claims the group drove away in four black Escalades, but he managed to get a license plate number.

Police are investigating.
