Oh, The Irony: Easter Egg Cookies Sold In Pa. Voluntarily Recalled For Containing Eggs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – How's this for irony: One company's Easter Egg cookies have been recalled…for having eggs in them.

According to the FDA, Silver Lake has voluntarily recalled the cookies due to undeclared egg in the ingredients.

The recalled cookies were sold under The Silver Lake label with the UPC code of: 0 37695 49817 1.

Silver Lake says the cookies are only dangerous for those with an egg allergy.

They were sold in several states, including Pennsylvania.
