Police Officer Fatally Shot In Delco ID'd

GLENOLDEN, Pa. (CBS) - Authorities have identified the off duty Darby Borough police officer who was shot and killed Saturday.

Around 4:30 in the afternoon, police responded to a call of shots fired at a house in the 600 block of Magnolia Avenue in Glenolden, Delaware County.

When they arrived, they found a woman in the house, and, in an upstairs bedroom they found the 26-year-old officer, identified as Mark Hudson, with a gunshot wound in the chest. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital, where he died.

No one has been charged yet in the murder, although neighbors tell CBS 3 Eyewitness News someone was led out of the house in handcuffs.
