Philadelphia BBQ Restaurant Hosts Fundraiser For Slain Officer's Family
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A local restaurant is hosting an all-day fundraiser for a slain Philadelphia police officer.
Sweet Lucy's Barbecue, in Northeast Philadelphia, will be donating 50-percent of its sales on Wednesday to the family of Officer Robert Wilson III, who was gunned down earlier this month while buying a video game for his son.
The restaurant says the special will be running from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and that half the day's sales will go towards the officer's family.
