Male Stabbed Inside Of Chinese Restaurant In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Officials say one person was taken to the hospital after being stabbed inside of a Chinese restaurant in Southwest Philadelphia Thursday afternoon.

Police say a 20-year-old male suffered multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Officials say the incident occurred at 55th and Lindbergh Avenue.

Police say the suspect allegedly stabbed himself and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is now in custody, authorities say.

No word on a motive at this time.
