PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A male was fatally shot inside of a Southwest Philadelphia Laundromat Thursday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting occurred at about 11 a.m. inside the 53rd Coin Laundromat on South 53rd Street and Springfield Avenue.

Investigators say the 25-year-old man was shot in the head three times and pronounced dead at the scene just minutes later.

Police are searching for the suspect.

A motive in the deadly shooting was not immediately known.

Police are trying to determine if the laundromat had surveillance video that could be useful in identifying the shooter.

The shooting remains under investigation.
