Driver Sought After Hit-Run Involving Police Captain's Car On I-95

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for the driver who fled the scene after striking the car of a Philadelphia police captain on I-95 Thursday morning.

The incident happened shortly after 10 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Allegheny Avenue.

According to investigators, after striking the police captain's car, the driver took off.

The police captain was taken to Aria Health's Torresdale Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

There was no immediate description of the striking car or the driver.
