2 Injured After Trolley Hits Car In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two people were reportedly injured after a trolley and a car collided in West Philadelphia.

The crash happened at 51st and Lancaster around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say it appears a person operating the maroon car drove out of a garage and down Lancaster when the vehicle reportedly stalled.

The car remained stuck and was struck by the route 10 trolley.

The victims were reportedly taken to Presbyterian Hospital, but there is no word on their condition.
