PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — With winds, potentially gusting up to 55 miles per hour, power outages are a major concern because of the serious threat of tree branches taking out power lines. Sunday morning, a tree crashed into a home in Newtown Square, Delaware County.
Sunday evening, PECO was reporting about 100 homes and businesses without power in Philadelphia and Delaware County. There were also scattered outages throughout Montgomery County, Bucks County and Chester County.

In New Jersey, Atlantic City Electric & PSE&G were reporting a few scattered outages.
SEPTA was reporting several delays along some of its regional rails.
PATCO was operating on schedule.
The weather caused a few cancellations at Philadelphia International Airport. Anyone with a flight should check ahead with their airline by calling 1-800-PHL-GATE or through the airport’s website.
