PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Is it now already? YES! The Flower Show is coming up at the end of the month – Feburary 28th to March 8th. This year’s theme is Celebrate the Movies, which I hope means over-the-top tributes to Hollywood in an array of excessively expressive floral displays. The point is, it’s flowers in winter at the largest indoor show of its kind, and the longest-running – it’s been going on since 1829!

An even smarter idea than just buying a ticket is to join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, because you’ll get free tickets as part of your membership (it totally pays for itself), plus you’ll support PHS and enjoy all of their member benefits for a year.
