PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The debate for best sports month in an age-old one, but something we all can agree on his February is—by far—the worst sports month of the year.

As we continue to agonize through the frigid weather and torturing Flyers and Sixers games, let’s look forward to some of the best sports months of the year.

 

5. January

We’ll let’s look back first, actually, to January. Bowl season, National Championship game, and the NFL Playoffs. It’s football’s best month and sure do love football.

4. September

The exhausting baseball season is finally winding down, and boom, football begins. And there’s nothing like Week One.
