RIDLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa., (CBS) –– Detectives are investigating theft from vehicles in a fitness center parking lot in Delaware County.

Ridley Township Police say it happened at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the parking lot of Planet Fitness on the 200 block of E. MacDade Boulevard in Folsom.

According to police, two suspects smashed the windows out of locked vehicles in the rear parking lot of Planet Fitness and allegedly stole property and credit cards.

At 4:50 p.m., police say the suspects went to the Target store located at the Springfield Mall where the stolen credit cards were allegedly used to purchase $1,330 worth of merchandise.

Ridley Township Police remind residents to lock their personal property such as pocketbooks, cell phones, and laptops in their trunks when visiting fitness facilities.
